Job Description:

SUMMARY
Engage in the quote, configuration, scheduling, and customer order interaction processes for both door and partition product lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sort through floor plans and drawings to gather information for incoming requests
Read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Customer interactions pertaining to products, quotes and orders
Enter estimates and quotes into ERP System and Product Configuration Module
Configure/re-configure line items to generate job orders
Attach drawings to job orders, print and sort job packets
Work with production supervisor on schedule, issues, and changes
Update and track information in the order log
Send order verification & drawings to get customer approval
Support purchasing team as needed with drawings, lead times and material questions
Set up item codes
Order entry which may include cross referencing purchase order to customer order

QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. -The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in engineering, business or related fields required
Microsoft Office experience required
ERP or SAP experience a plus
Bachelor's degree a plus
AutoCAD a plus

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. -Have the ability to understand industry standards and construction methods. - - -Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, managers, and customers, in small and large group situations. -Ability to utilize phone, e-mail and other methods of communication.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Apply basic mathematical concepts. -Demonstrate proficiency in calculations involving decimal values, percentages, and multiples.

REASONING ABILITY
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. -Interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. -Possess strong analytical ability.
