Overview
As a Transportation Field Technician for Civil & Environmental
Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll work alongside collaborative team
members, dedicated mentors, and experienced managers that are

part of a highly trained and growing Construction Inspection and
Engineering group that performs project management, quality
control, quality assurance, project documentation, and other
related services for the WVDOH. Projects may range from bridge
rehabilitation, bridge construction, roadway construction,
grade/drain/pave, highway lighting, and highway signing.
Responsibilities: Perform construction observation and
documentationPerform field testing of soils, concrete and asphalt
to determine project complianceInteract with construction site
personnel, engineers, and state and federal representatives while
presenting yourself in a professional mannerDriving and maintaining
the appearance and operation of company vehicles to and from job
sitesDaily report writing, project plan/specification
interpretation, and entering data into required web based
applicationsCommunication with owners project supervisors and
contractor personnel while on-siteOur team enjoys a work/life
