Job Description:
Purpose:The Maintenance Technician will support the factory
shift maintenance needs by repairing and maintaining machinery and
mechanical equipment related to production machines and equipment
by performing the following duties:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Observe
presses and other machinery in operation and troubleshoot problems
as they arise* Calibrate temperature and hydraulic gauges on all
presses; temperatures on ovens.* Make necessary support items for
production* Adjust functional parts of devices and control
instruments.* Access, troubleshoot and repair necessary electrical
equipment* Initiate purchase order for parts and machines.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS OR CREDENTIALS: * Minimum of three years in the
maintenance field* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint* Skilled at staying organized, multitasking, and
planning workload* Great communication skills* Experience working
for a manufacturer of elastomeric materials (preferred)
