Overview: Poles Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the purchasing of all storeroom stocked items, non-stocked repair parts and raw materials not managed by the Production Inventory Coordinator. Additional responsibilities include overseeing storekeepers, maintaining inventory accuracy of spare parts, raw materials kanbans and vending machine items. The ICS must maintain electronic inventory records to include adding new items, changing ROQ & ROP information and working with Maintenance supervision to update parent equipment / child relationships used in part lookup. The main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory while maintaining and developing protocols for loss mitigation. Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned. This position is a full time (minimum 40 hours per week) on-site position.

• Perform all buying of recommend, vended and requested items.
• Manage integrity of storeroom and all storage locations.
• Oversee storekeeper.
• Complete monthly raw materials inventories as well as storeroom cycle counts.
• Maintain electronic files and records.
• Some weekends are required Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two year Associates Degree in Inventory Control preferred or minimum of 2 years related work experience
  • Proficient in PC based software including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Enterprise and MAS 500 a plus.
  • Experience in Inventory Management a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects at once
