POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Supervisor oversees all maintenance and repair activities during their assigned shift. Maintenance Supervisor will ensure safety and high equipment uptime working through a skilled set of maintenance technicians. Under minimal supervision, lead the maintenance workforce with troubleshooting and maintenance of plant equipment & machines. These machines may contain multiple PLCs, VFD's, Servos, and HMI's. You will coordinate closely with the Maintenance Manager and Production Supervisors to identify and resolve equipment performance, reliability, and safety issues. Maintenance Supervisor position is firsthand and requires you to have tools and directly collaborate with technicians to repair or install equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSABITILIES: Direct maintenance workforce on a day-to-day basis
Maintenance Supervisor provides direction, oversees all assignments allocated to the maintenance technicians
Review planning and scheduling with the maintenance manager
Audits and ensures the quality of work performed by the maintenance technicians
Effectively conveys and schedules maintenance activities with operations
Able to evaluate the qualifications of the maintenance technicians and recommend training/development as needed
Replace and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
Conscientious to identify corrective actions to technicians
Maintenance Supervisor manages technician's schedules and timecards using Kronos timekeeping system
Supervise the preventative maintenance program on various pieces of manufacturing equipment
Minimize equipment downtime through corrective and preventative maintenance
Capability to lead and assist with capital improvement projects throughout the facility
Oversee installation and electrical set-up of new or moved machinery
Supervise and/or assist with mechanical repairs throughout the facility and on machines.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Analysis of equipment problems, identify root causes of equipment problems, project management skills, technical reading, supervision skills
Maintenance Supervisor possesses the ability lead and direct continuous improvement concepts to move site's culture forward.
Clear communications, arithmetic, technical reading, computer skills (Word, Excel, charts), organized, relationship building, ability to present professional presentations.
Effective human relations skills, including good listening ability and the capability to convince others to establish or change precedents.
Knowledge of PLCs, digital and analog sensors
Experience with programmable logic controllers
Strong written and oral communication skills and can work as a collaborator
Experience with servo motors, encoders, pumps, gearboxes, steam, and ammonia
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
