Full-time, 40 Hours/WeekDay ShiftHybrid (Onsite 2-3 Days/Week)Summary:The Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the corporate alliance outreach and acquisition efforts of Akron Children's Hospital. - - Responsibilities:

• Supports the corporate alliance outreach and acquisition efforts of Akron Children's Hospital.
• Manages the process of creating ongoing relationships with corporate partner prospects/donors and solicits gifts.
• Strategizes outreach tactics, conducting outreach to potential corporate partners, and negotiating campaign alignments.
• Serves as the liaison between the Foundation and advisory committees.
• Coordinates and stewards larger third-party, independent fundraising projects held by corporations and individuals.
• Other duties as required. Other information:Technical Expertise
• Experience in fundraising, marketing, or sales is required.
• Travel and valid Ohio driver's license is required.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Database management software is required; Raiser's Edge software is preferred. Education and Experience
• Education: Associate's degree is required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field is preferred.
• Certification: None.
• Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
