Job Description Position Overview: Perform routine day to day medical equipment support related to hardware and software configuration, installation, and testing as well as onging medical equipment process improvements. Responsible for safe operations, as well as quality production Essential Job Functions Responsible for mechanical assemblies as well as wiring of medical equipment Responsible for completing each phase of the machine assembly process (3 phases) and able to float where required Maintains inventory accuracy for machine parts Attention to detail with Accuracy for record recording/ equipment logs Responsible for refurbishing machines as needed, including tear down of older units and cleaning of parts Operates forklift, clamp truck, etc. as necessary Responsible for troubleshooting medical machines Completes repair evaluations and repairs on machines as needed Responsible for scheduling repairs Learn ERP system and able to complete paperwork associated with repairs May need to answer customer calls at times Other Job Functions Perform various tasks as assigned Participate in continuous improvement efforts Maintain a clean and safe work environment and promote safety with others Skills/Qualifications Ability to work effectively acting on own initiative with minimal supervision required ability to work well with others in a cross functional team Must be willing to obtain a company tow motor certification Prior experience working in a team based environment Basic computer skills Familiar with Microsoft Office Attention to detail and following procedures Ability to write general assembly instructions when necessary to document processes Able to multitask to meet customers needs Willingness to travel as needed
