Job Description:
Join the innovative team at Lincoln Electric, a leader in
welding and cutting solutions, as a Technical Writer. Located in
the heart of Cleveland, Ohio, this role involves crafting clear and
concise documentation that supports our engineering and product
development teams. You will be instrumental in communicating
complex information in ways that are easily understandable to both
technical and non-technical audiences, thereby contributing
directly to our tradition of innovation in the manufacturing
industry. Develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical
specifications, and process documentation Work alongside
engineering and manufacturing staff to gather comprehensive product
information Create user guides and manuals geared towards end-users
Revise documents as new issues arise with product changes or
upgrades Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the
layperson Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist
readers in understanding a product or process Maintain a database
of all documentation for ongoing reference and compliance Strong
proficiency in technical writing of manufacturing processes Ability
to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner
Experience with technical documentation software tools Strong
attention to detail and ability to write at various technical
levels Capability to interact with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to
ensure accuracy of information Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Certification from the Society for Technical
Communication (STC) is preferred Proficiency certifications in
Adobe Suite or similar documentation tools
