Job Description:
Nesco Resource, 14 plus time winner of the Best in Staffing
award, is looking for quality inspectors for a Fortune 500 company
on Cleveland's West side. We are looking for quality inspectors
that comprehend the quality expectations for the product and
supplies for company, who can approve and/or rejecting raw
materials with respect to quality standards, and record supplier
performance. Job title: Bilingual Quality Inspector Location:
Cleveland, OH Shift: 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am (12 hour rotating
shift) Wage: $17.50/hour $1.50 shift differential
Duties/Responsibilities: Walk to each department with pallets of
products with a sign stating "Inspect". Utilize wheeled cart to
bring to each department to inspect sample boxes. Cut open boxes
and visually inspect products to ensure quality standards. Visually
inspect pallets to esnure uniformity and correct packaging before
being released to shipping. Bring samples from departments on floor
to QA inspection room using carts. Communicate with department
leads regarding errors found on production line. Creaqte
disposition numbers for each quality issue and enter generated
numbers into database. Retrieve samples to measure weights. Check
to ensure lot numbers are consistent with report logs.
Skills/Qualifications: Proven experience as quality inspector or
relevant role Bilingual in English and Spanish A keen eye for
detail and a results-driven approach Responsible and trustworthy
Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems Able to walk
around plant floor constantly, lift up to 30 lbs. and push/pull 5
lbs. Working knowledge of MS Office Shift/Pay Information Day shift
is 7 am - 7 pm on rotating days (every other weekend required)
$17.50/hour Night shift is 7 pm - 7am on rotating days (every other
weekend required) $19.50/hour Must be available to train from 7
am-3:30 pm Monday - Friday for two weeks. Temp to Hire opportunity
