Job Description Job Description Shipping Assistant (Administrative) Location: Cuyahoga Falls, OH Shift: 1st Shift Pay Rate: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience) Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Assistant (Administrative) to support our growing shipping and logistics operations. This is a newly created role designed to bridge administrative responsibilities with hands-on warehouse coordination. The position offers strong growth potential, including advancement into supervisory, quality, or office-based roles as our operation expands in the coming year. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with shipping documentation, computer systems, and professional communication, while still being connected to a warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation (NAFTA, USMCA, bills of lading, commercial invoices, etc.) Coordinate domestic and international shipments using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and freight providers Enter and verify shipping data accurately within computer systems Communicate professionally with carriers, internal teams, and customers via phone and email Track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and assist with freight scheduling Support warehouse and shipping teams with administrative tasks as needed Assist with process improvements as the department continues to grow Qualifications Strong computer skills (data entry, shipping systems, email, and basic office software) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Prior experience with shipping documentation, logistics, or transportation preferred Familiarity with NAFTA and USMCA regulations is a plus Experience working with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers Professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a warehouse-based office environment Why Join Us?
