Position Description: This role can be filled from the client site in one of the following locations: Columbus, OH, Cleveland OH, Dallas TX, or Pittsburgh PA. CGI is seeking an experienced Java Back End API developer to join our financial services team and provide leadership and hands-on integration expertise to our top tier US Bank clients. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Engagement with product analyst and solution architects to interpret functional specifications to develop innovative solutions. . Build secure, scalable and high-performance applications . Work in an Agile environment and actively participate in sprint/project/release planning to provide development estimates for the program. . Participate in requirements tuning and design reviews, sprint readiness and retrospective reviews and other inspections. . Develop and exercise implementation and unit test cases . Build technical documentation. . Communication with client stakeholders . Ensuring that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements. . Developing testable features with lean requirements and supervision. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Strong knowledge in Core Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, Oracle SQLs, Junits (Must) . Familiar with Spring MVC, JSP, Jquery, Angular, Tomcat (Good to have) . Knowledge of Agile process, Expert knowledge of Java, REST API, SQL, SoapUI, UDeploy, Git . Familiar with various software architectural and design patterns. . Good Communication Skills (must have) . Continuously deploy and validate code in numerous testing environments as well as lead hotfix and production code releases. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,800.00 - $156,700.00.
