maintain and operate our critical infrastructure systems so that
they are prepared to stand up against any situation. AWS has the

job responsibilities *Lead and manage a team of service technicians
responsible for generator maintenance, repair, non-destructive
testing on electrical equipment, and battery maintenance. Ensuring
high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. *
Drive equipment lifecycle management, including end-of-life
planning and replacement strategies for critical power
infrastructure *Coordinate with maintenance scheduling teams to
ensure 100% completion of required maintenance activities while
minimizing impact to data center operations *Manage multiple
concurrent projects across various sites, including improvement
initiatives from conception to completion * Build and maintain
strong relationships with vendors and contract partners, ensuring
adherence to SLAs and quality standards * Effectively manage
operational budgets and resource allocation across multiple
programs * Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement,
implementing best practices and driving team development * Perform
rotational On-Call duties as the after hours on-call Services Team
Manager for the data centers in the region. This includes
responding to any issues within the data centers and managing the
investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issue(s) A day in
the life We are seeking an energetic Services Manager to serve as a
technical resource and leader within Amazon's data centers. The
position will ensure the reliability and availability of critical
power infrastructure across multiple data center locations, with a
focus on Nondestructive Testing, batteries, generators, and
associated equipment. The Services Manager is responsible for
developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies,
managing technical teams, and maintaining exceptional uptime
standards for power distribution systems that support
mission-critical infrastructure. This role requires maintaining
better than 99.999% reliability while optimizing operational
efficiency and managing resources effectively. About the team Why

professional. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree or
equivalent experience * 2 years in a management position with 5 or
more direct reports * 2 years within a critical infrastructure
equipment including Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) batteries,
Generators, Electrical Switchgear, and non-destructive testing
methodologies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * 5 years leading field
services teams performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and
root cause analysis of critical infrastructure (generators, switch
gear, bud-duct, UPS, and air handlers) * Level 3 Infra-Red (IR)
Thermography Certification * Demonstrated experience with Tier 4
Generator maintenance and operation * Demonstrated experience with
mission critical battery deployments and various chemistries.
