Job Description:
Transdev North America, a leader in the provision of bus, rail,
paratransit, shuttle, and taxi services, is currently seeking a
dedicated Non-CDL Driver to join our team. This role is crucial in
ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers across
various routes. As a Non-CDL Driver, you will operate vehicles in
compliance with local regulations, cooperate with co-workers and
engage with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety,
customer service excellence, and reliability. Operate various types
of transit vehicles safely along assigned routes Assist passengers
with boarding and alighting, providing special assistance where
necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the
vehicle is in optimal operating condition Report delays, accidents,
or other traffic and transportation situations to the dispatcher or
relevant authority Adhere to schedules while maintaining a friendly
and professional demeanor with the public Collect fares, issue
tickets, and maintain a log of vehicle operations as required Safe
driving practices Knowledge of local traffic laws Effective
communication skills Basic mechanical knowledge Ability to work
under pressure Customer service orientation Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid driver's license with
a clean driving record. Non-CDL license required.
