AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Grill Cook, PRN/On-Call. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Founded in 1960, AVI Foodsystems has evolved into one of the most respected and trusted food service companies in the nation. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deep fry, grill, and saut-- meats, fish, vegetables and other foods
• Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling and piercing
• Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe
• Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
• Manage food inventory
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotionRequirements:
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Exceptional food presentations skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
