Addiction Counselor Job Description: Addiction Counselor Location: Pittsburgh, PA, 15233 Skills: * Provide both individual and group counseling in a Medication-Assisted Outpatient Treatment Facility both in person and via telehealth (if available) * AWOL Engagement Calls * Collaborate with other treatment providers to assist client as needed * Complete individualized treatment plans * Responsible for scheduling and completing counseling appointments * Must write up all required documentation, devising appropriate interventions and treatment plans * Completes annual educational requirements * Seeks and responds to supervision * Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time * Demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks * Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with clients, staff, the public and other entities * Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing * Possess basic computer skills * Good typing skills * Bachelor's or Master's preferred * Associates in a related field WITH one year experience Work Environment: * Moderation in temperature, noise * Sitting at desk for hours * Close vision at a computer * Repetitive motions for computer use Compensation details: 35000-42000 PIb7d83e9795e5-29400-38656074
