Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Weirton, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit/n/n Location/n This position is located in a facility within the United States, following a 50-mile radius rule for candidates. /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Shifts consist of a 12-hour day/night rotation with weekends as scheduled. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care to patients within a 48-bed Medical Surgical Unit, managing diverse diagnoses such as pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and falls/weakness. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide patient care, including vital signs monitoring, administering medications, and managing nursing interventions. /n - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes. /n - Titrate drips as required, with the exception of cardiac drips. /n - Assist with training and guiding nursing aids/patient care techs as needed. /n - Participate in shift changes and may float to other units for lower acuity patients. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience. /n - BLS certification and a valid RN license are required. /n - Candidates are encouraged to disclose any licensing hits at the time of submission. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
