Job Description We are looking for a remote Coding Specialist for an award-winning hospital system! This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team at a company that cares about its employees! This specialist will assess documentation for each service rendered in the hospital to accurately code principal diagnoses, secondary conditions, procedures, and social determinant codes using American Hospital Association & Current Procedural Terminology guidelines, payer-specific rules for commercial/Medicaid insurance, and drug administration for certain service lines. Requirements: 2 years of recent inpatient hospital coding experience Must have 1 certification: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off, including vacation and sick time.
