Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Interventional Radiology Tech – Travel Department: Interventional Radiology – Vascular & Neuro Important Submission Rules - Candidates can only be submitted to ONE position across the entire WVU system at a time - Driver’s license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility - Previous permanent employees: must be gone 2 years - Previous travelers who worked there for 1 year: must also be gone 2 years - Travel teams: must be submitted together in one email - Maximum of 2 candidates per opening - If a position is full, submissions may be held until a slot opens Certifications / Requirements Required - ARRT (R) - BLS Preferred - ACLS Schedule - Monday – Friday - 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM On-Call Requirements - 1–2 call shifts per week - Every 3rd or 4th weekend call - Possible holiday call - 30-minute call-back response time Case Volume - 20–30 procedures per day - Depends on provider coverage and case mix Equipment Used Body / Vascular IR Rooms - Canon imaging systems Neuro Rooms - Siemens Artis Q - Siemens Iconos Ultrasound - GE Healthcare ultrasound systems Neuro IR Skills Required Candidate should be above average with: - Cerebral angiograms - Coiling procedures - Kyphoplasty - Spine interventions - Stroke therapy - Carotid stenting Scrubs - Provided by facility Core Duties Key responsibilities include: Patient Monitoring - Interpret hemodynamic monitoring - Monitor ECG and blood pressure continuously - Document patient status and notify physician of changes Sterile Technique - Maintain 100% sterile technique compliance - Prepare procedural entry site using sterile methods - Assemble sterile supplies for physician Procedure Support - Assist with vascular and neuro IR procedures - Prepare patient prior to procedures - Maintain specialization in neuroradiology and vascular IR Emergency Response - Participate in on-call rotation - Act as part of lab code team - Assist with resuscitation and defibrillation under physician supervision Documentation & Billing - Document all procedures accurately - Use inventory management system - Ensure correct procedure billing Education & Training - Teach radiography students in clinical setting - Participate in in-services and continuing education Department Support - Inventory management - Quality improvement activities - Maintain patient confidentiality About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
