Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro MedSurg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekend Nightshift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Strong Neuro experience - Proficiency with G-tubes - Recent Epic experience Description: The position requires an RN to work in a Neuro MedSurg unit with 20 beds. The nurse will care for patients with various neurological conditions, including strokes and seizures. Ratios are 1:5-6 for floor patients. A charge nurse is present 24/7. Nurse aids are available on most shifts, with ratios of 1:7-10. Respiratory therapists are available 24/7, and floor vents will be managed by them and the physician. RNs will document monitoring verification but do not need to read cardiac strips. Weekend shifts are required, with options for various combinations. Holiday work is also expected as part of the rotation. Floating may occur to other units if necessary. The dress code is any combination of white and royal blue.
