with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Morgantown,
West Virginia, 26506! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

Must-Have: Experience with complex wound care, drains, devices,
traumatic injuries, chest tubes, respiratory support, traumatic
brain injuries, and complex spinal cord injuries. Description: This
is a high-impact, fast-paced nursing unit. The team works with
challenging patient care issues, allowing nurses to practice at the
top of their scope and abilities. Nurses encounter a variety of
patient conditions and care modalities. Common diagnoses include
multi-trauma, fractures, general surgery, and bariatric surgery.
The unit sees complex wound care with various drains and devices.
Traumatic injuries may include chest-wall injuries requiring chest
tubes and respiratory support. Complex spinal cord injuries and
other medical and surgical conditions are also part of the care
provided. Nurses collaborate with care management, surgical and
medical services, rehabilitation services, and perioperative
services. The unit maintains a patient-nurse ratio of 1:6 for floor
patients and 1:3 for stepdown patients. Nurses gain experience in
managing both stepdown and floor patients, allowing for a breadth
of clinical exposure and time-management skills. This role requires
the ability to read cardiac strips, and monitor technical support
is available. Floating to similar units may be required. Weekend
and holiday shifts are part of the schedule. All candidates must
