Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with
Mindlance Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Morgantown, West
Virginia, 26501! ID: 76257589 Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate Day/Night
roating shift; Minimum 2 full weekends (Friday-Sunday) a month. Can
b Description: Unit only submit to 1 position at a time across the
entire WVU systemDrivers license address must be outside 50 miles
from the facilityPrevious perm candidates must be gone for 2
yearsPrevious travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2
yearsIndividual unit requirements listed in pulse apply.Travel
teams must be submitted together in 1 emailWe are only permitted to
submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will
hold on to the submission if a spot opens up2 years PICU experience
is a hard requirement. WILL take adults. Please confirm traveler is
comfortable taking adults in L&D if needed.2/13/2023, confirmed
this is a requirement on 7/22/2025COVID VACCINE REQUIRED: Fully
vaccinated means either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of
J&J; If a traveler wants to decline based on a Medical or

Sedation Protocol & vasoactive drugs with Dr's ordersCommon

SupervisorYes - Charge Nurse - depends on staffing. Attempt to have
free charge when possible. House Supervisor is free. Are there
nurse aids on this unit/RatiosYes - Daytime they have at least 1,
sometimes 2. Nights they have 1. Duties include: feeding, FSBS, but
mostly assist RN's with equipment needs & preparing beds for
admissions. Pediatrician in house 24/7?In-house 24/7 with call room
on the unit. Resident & APP also present 24/7.RT Equipment (vents,
Cpap, BiPap, etc.)Yes - Vents, Cpap, BiPap - managed per RTIs there
tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?Tele is monitored
off unit but all patients on monitor with central monitors at ICU &
SD desk. Strips are read off unit by tele.Shifts & Scheduling7a-7p;
7p-7a (They do self-scheduling & it is possible to do block
scheduling as long as the needs of the unit are met. The Scheduling
team balances the schedule. Weekend Requirement2 weekends in a 4
week schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun are all considered weekend shifts for
both day or night shifts)Holiday RequirementYes - Travelers would
be expected to work holidays if needed & will be worked into the
perm staff holiday rotation schedule. Is there a call or standby

within children's (L&D, NICU, & Acute Peds) Travelers would be
expected to take normal ratios for whatever unit they float
