Job Description Nightingale's List is seeking a Social Work Correctional Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor for a travel job in Marion, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Discipline: Social Work - Duration: 24 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel - Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities appropriate to the correctional setting. - Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address mental health needs, behavioral goals, and rehabilitation objectives. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams—including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and custody staff—to coordinate holistic, person-centered care. - Facilitate therapy sessions that promote emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, trauma processing, and interpersonal growth. - Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and CDCR standards. - Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) meetings and contribute to case formulation, treatment planning, and crisis intervention strategies. - Support inmate transitions and pre-release preparation by addressing reintegration challenges and developing relapse-prevention and community reentry skills.
