Radiology Tech Location: Weirton, WV Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,506 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 75963998 Shift: 10H All 10 hr varied shifts, no call required Description: Unit Notes:50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSELICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION- General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS, WV Xray LicenseWV CARES REQUIRED PRIOR TO START- Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: BLS,ARRT, WV Xray License (See General Radiology Cert Overview Below)- How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: \"4 rooms; 3 general xray, 1 fluoro, 2 portable, & 3 C-Arms Staffing: 6-7 Techs 0600-1700, 3-4 Techs on Evenings, and 1 Tech on Midnights\"- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Yes, will float between general department, fluoro, & OR- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: General Xray studies, OR Cases (cystos, ortho, GI), Fluoro cases (ortho & GI)- Experience or 'Must have' skills: \"Must be able to function in all areas including General Xray, Portables, OR, & Fluoro Will accept first time travelers\"- Average of scans/studies per day: 110/day - What EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use?: EMR- Community WorksPACS-Intellirad/Intelliconnect- Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): C-arms OEC, Portables-GE AMX with DR-KonicaDagnostic Rooms-Del Medical,Siemens,Philips- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech?: Imaging Director and Manager M-F Daylight and always available via telephone Lead tech most afternoon shifts- Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No- Radiologist in-house 24/7?: Yes until 5pm, then on call, Vrad covers interpreting 2a-6a- Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): No- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): \"Staff works 2,2,3 shift between 2 teams meaning they work 2 on, 2 off, 3 on 8 Hr shifts; Daylight, afternoon, midnight, Day Shifts: 06-230, 0630-3, 8-4:30, 9:30-5, Afternoon Shift: 2:30-11, Midnight Shift: 12-8\"- *Would they ever be the only tech in-house within their department?*: Yes, overnight- Weekend Requirements: EOW- Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation- Call or Standby requirement? Response time?: None- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: May wear any color scrubs as long as they are clean and professional, permanent staff wear an Emerald Green color if traveler would like to match, not required. - Department specific orientation: 5 shifts with a preceptor Cancellation may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks. Charting BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift Notes:10 hr varied shifts, no call required Required , BLS Certification Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Weeks:91 Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
