Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Wheeling, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,640 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Wheeling, West Virginia, 26003! Job Title: OR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7 AM - 5 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: IV skills Surgical care knowledge Experience with robotics Scrubbing experience required Preoperative care experience Charge Nurse/House Supervisor experience Familiarity with electronic medical records Description: This position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The role involves providing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Preferred candidates will have experience in all procedures including same-day and inpatient stays. IV skills are essential, as well as knowledge of surgical care and robotics. Candidates should be capable of scrubbing in as an RN. Preoperative care experience is required. Charge Nurse or House Supervisor experience will be beneficial. The schedule will consist of four 10-hour shifts each week, with one weekend day required on a rotating basis. There will also be a 24-hour on-call requirement one weekend day each month. The call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Weekend shifts will consist of rotating weekends of 8 hours from 7 AM to 3 PM or 24-hour on-call. Candidates must be willing to float to the OR holding area if needed. This position operates within a surgical center that is not a free-standing surgical center. Experience with the Allscripts charting system is preferred, but individuals familiar with other systems may be considered.
