ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Inpatient Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Weekend requirement: Every weekend night shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday) • Patient ratios: 1:6 for floor patients, 1:3 for stepdown patients • Work with both floor and stepdown patients in trauma, general surgery, and bariatric surgery • Must have experience with complex wound care, drains, devices, and traumatic injuries • Required to manage chest tubes, respiratory support, traumatic brain injuries, and complex spinal cord injuries • Must be able to read and validate telemetry strips • Floating to similar units (floor/stepdown) required • Holiday requirement: Will work into permanent staff holiday schedule as needed • Required certification: BLS • Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs • Charting system: EPIC • BSN not required • 2 shifts per 13-week contract cancellation policy • Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility • Handle titratable drips including Heparin, PCAs on floor level and Insulin, Cardizem on stepdown level Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 33-bed trauma and general surgery inpatient unit that serves as a nationally-recognized Comprehensive Bariatric Surgery Center.
