External/eligible candidates (Part-Time status will receive 1/2 of
sign-on bonus, and casual status not eligible) 0-1 years of
experience = $12,000 – with a 2-year commitment 1 years of
experience = $20,000 – with a 2-year commitment In addition, UPMC
will now pay for fees to complete RRT exam costs for CRT’s who want

will have additional support staff consisting of respiratory care
assistants as well as student interns. We also have a professional
practice counsel and a specialized tracheostomy task force. We

amongst all staff! Qualified candidates will be placed into the
appropriate level: CRT range: $26.16 – $43.85 RRT range: $28.73 –
$48.21 Sr. RRT range: $30.82 – $51.79 We offer a lucrative career

opportunities with UPMC! Under the general direction of a physician
and by prescription, the Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory
therapy services and life support to patients with deficiencies and
abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Defined
responsibilities are performed in all patient populations and in
all patient service areas. \n \n\t Graduate of a Co ARC (Committee
on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved Respiratory program
required. \n\t Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required. \n\t Basic Life Support or
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation required Certified Respiratory
Therapist (CRTT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care
(NBRC) required prior to expiration of temporary practice permit
\n\t Respiratory therapists who receive their CRT credential from
the NBRC after July 1, 2002 are required to maintain certification
under the NBRC requirements \n \n\n Licensure, Certifications, and
Clearances: \n\n \n\t Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
(CRTT) \n\t Osteopathic Respiratory Care \n\t Respiratory Care
Practitioners (RCP) \n\t CPR required based on AHA standards that
include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within
