Certifications: BLS Certification Required Must-Have: Must have
strong orthopedic experience and total joint replacement
experience. Description: The unit accommodates a total of 22 beds
with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6. Registered nurses will be
responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in an acute
care setting. Staffing includes 3 certified nursing assistants per
shift, with ratios of 1:7-8. Registration nurses will not need to
read telemetry strips, as telemetry technicians are available.
Charge nurses are present 24/7 for support. Nurses may float to
specified areas as needed. Weekend shifts are required, with
expectations for holiday rotations. The charting system utilized is
