working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of emergency
department experience required. License: Must have a valid nursing
license. Certifications: - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) -
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - National Institutes of
Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
(PALS) Must-Have: Proficient in IV starts, experience with
telemetry monitoring. Description: This position involves working
in an emergency department. Candidates should have a minimum of 2
years of emergency department experience. Oncology experience is
preferred but not required. Experience with the EPIC charting
system is required. Patient ratio is typically 1:4. Candidates must
be comfortable floating to different areas as needed. Knowledge in
blood product administration, central line care, and management of
ventilated patients is important. Candidates must demonstrate the
ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage them accordingly.
Isolation precautions must be adhered to at all times. The patient
population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and
geriatrics. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support services
is essential. Familiarity with special procedures and equipment
relevant to emergency care is desired. Candidates must also manage
phlebotomy and IV therapy effectively. Strong communication and
team collaboration skills are critical for success in this role. 5
