works under clinical supervision and requires considerable
knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques.
The role involves being a member of a sex offender team.
Responsibilities include providing sex offender interventions for a
caseload of assigned offenders. Completes screenings and
assessments as necessary. Conducts group and sex offender
interventions based on individual in-program assessments. Utilizes
evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies within
the scope of practice as directed by supervision. Writes reports
and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of
federal, state, and local agencies. Enters documentation in the
electronic health record for all inmate encounters and contacts.
Completes miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and
protocol. Completes transfer and discharge summaries as required.
Consults with other institution staff regarding the sex offender
caseload and inmates' institutional adjustment and service needs.
Attends meetings of sex offender program supervision. Participates
in in-service training and workshops for professional development.
