ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Surgical Center Preoperative RN Location Details of the location to be confirmed. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 4-10 hour shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, including 1 weekend day per 4-week schedule. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Preoperative RN to join our surgical center team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in surgical care, robotics, and the ability to scrub. This role involves providing preoperative care, including managing IV skills and assisting with same-day and overnight stays. Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive preoperative care for patients. - Manage IV skills and ensure patient safety. - Assist in scrubbing and surgical procedures as necessary. - Participate in charge nurse duties and house supervision as required. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient operation of the surgical center. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Current BLS certification. - Experience in surgical care and preoperative settings. - Previous experience with IV administration. - Knowledge of robotics in surgical procedures is preferred. - Current unexpired driver's license required; include a copy with application.
