Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Ohio Start Date: January 30, 2026 Location: Canton, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Highlights: - Travel nursing opportunity in a dynamic Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Night shift schedule offering work-life balance with three 12-hour shifts - Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility - Comprehensive orientation with rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments - Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months - Holiday rotation required (every other holiday) Requirements: - Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience - Minimum 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (non-travel) - Active Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission - Epic EMR experience required - Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications - NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date - One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty - Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months - COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered) - Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered) - Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation Why It's a Great Opportunity: This travel nursing position offers the chance to enhance your telemetry skills in a supportive environment that values clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
