Registered Nurse Job Details - Location: Canton, Ohio (44708) – Ohio healthcare jobs - Unit: 7Main Medical/Telemetry Unit - Employment Type: Travel RN contract - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025 – End: 3/20/2026) - Shifts: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts/week (7:00pm – 7:30am) - Hours per Week: 36 - Openings: 2 Med/Surg Telemetry RN positions - Estimated Weekly Salary: $180 RN Qualifications & Requirements - Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience - Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications - NIH Stroke certification (required prior to start) - Experience with Epic charting system - TWO recent references from a Med/Surg Telemetry manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from assignments worked within the past 12 months) - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered) - Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans - Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR - Complete orientation and required clinical assessments - Work every other holiday as scheduled - Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
