Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring current OH or compact RN license, strong Epic skills, and recent Med/Surg Tele experience. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Night shifts, working 3 x 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am - Patient population includes both medical-surgical and telemetry patients - Uses Epic electronic medical record system; Epic experience is required - Required to work at least every other holiday - Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing during orientation, with acceptable scores required for contract continuation - Fingerprinting and badging must be completed onsite at the facility before start - Travelers can only be submitted for one position at a time within this health system - Permanent and per diem candidates must not have worked at the facility within the past year - First time travelers are welcome to apply - Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free policies as of the stated effective date Requirements - Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience - Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required - Must obtain NIH Stroke certification prior to start - Epic EMR experience required - Must provide a recent supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months - No license hits or open background cases accepted Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621887.
