Key Job Details – RNFA Travel Nursing Opportunity - Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) - Location: Canton, Ohio 44708 - Healthcare Setting: Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) - Contract Type: Travel Nursing Assignment - Start Date: December 5, 2025 - End Date: March 6, 2026 - Assignment Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) - Weekly Hours: 36 - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2920 - $3000 - On-call: Weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call (details discussed during interview) - Floating: May float to Main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled Qualifications – RNFA Nursing Job Requirements - Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiothoracic OR RNFA experience - At least 18 months of permanent CVOR RNFA experience prior to travel assignment - Active Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification required - Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required at time of application - Experience with vein harvesting in the operating room required - Current American Heart Association BLS certification required - Minimum one year of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting - One recent reference from a supervisor or physician in the specialty required - Additional facility credentialing required prior to start date - Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation RNFA Responsibilities – Cardiothoracic OR Nurse - Assist surgeons in cardiothoracic surgical procedures as an RNFA - Perform vein harvesting and other specialized clinical tasks in the OR - Deliver expert perioperative patient care and support throughout the surgical process - Float to Main Operating Room as needed for clinical support - Participate in on-call coverage, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays - Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Complete all required credentialing and clinical assessments prior to assignment start Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel RNFA in Canton, Ohio, and make a difference in patient care while advancing your nursing career!
