Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Unit IMU beds 18 Ratios 1:03 Required Certifications ACLS,BLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients POST MI WITH SHEATH PULL,ADHS, POSTOP VASCULAR,GI BLEED, DKA Experience or 'Must have' skills Typical step down type patients Are RNs required to titrate drips? YES Common titratable &/or set rate drips Nitroglycerine up to 150mcg/kg/min, Neo up to 100mcg/min and Cardene up to 10mg/hr Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Both charge and house super available. Under normal circumstances, charge will not have a team Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios One PCT per shift RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) BiPap and Cpap Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Tele on all patients. RN's read strips Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Not promising anything. Currently working on a paper spreadsheet Weekend Requirements Every other Holiday Requirements On Holiday schedule which equates to about every other Is there call or a standby requirement?
