Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 42 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a high-performing surgical services team in Ohio. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative care for patients of all ages—from neonates to older adults—throughout the surgical experience. This position requires critical thinking, collaborative teamwork, and strong leadership in maintaining safe and efficient operating room practices. /n/n/nKey Responsibilities:/n/n /n/t - /n/t Deliver both direct and indirect nursing care in the perioperative setting using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation /n/t /n/t - /n/t Coordinate care with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and surgical team to ensure safe, seamless procedures /n/t /n/t - /n/t Supervise and direct OR Technicians and other support staff while maintaining professional nursing standards /n/t /n/t - /n/t Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients to promote safety and understanding /n/t /n/t - /n/t Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and infection control protocols /n/t /n/t - /n/t Actively participate in Performance Improvement initiatives, in-services, and unit meetings /n/t /n/t - /n/t Promote efficient patient flow and assist in the organization of the OR for continuous, high-quality care /n/t /n/t - /n/t Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to peers and newer staff /n/t /n /n/n/nQualifications:/n/n /n/t - /n/t Active RN license in the state of Ohio (Required) /n/t /n/t - /n/t BLS certification (AHA – Required) /n/t /n/t - /n/t ACLS and PALS certification (Required) /n/t /n/t - /n/t Minimum 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience (Preferred) /n/t /n/t - /n/t Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills /n/t /n/t - /n/t Experience working with neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations in surgical settings is a plus /n/t /n/t - /n/t CNOR certification (Preferred) /n/t /n Sable Corporation Job ID 2025-101.
