Job Description:

qualified Neuro RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506! Pay
Information $2,236 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Neuro MedSurg Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Nightshift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience:
Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS required;
ACLS & NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Need to have overall strong Neuro
experience. Description: Unit has 20 beds (14 floor, 6 stepdown).
Ratios are 1:5-6 for floor patients. Titration is only done by
physician's orders in a step-down setting. There may be protocols
that allow for titration, but education will be provided. Common
titratable and/or set rate drips include Amiodarone, Cardizem,
Nitro, dopamine, Nipride, Ketamine, Lasix, Bumex, and Insulin.
Charge Nurse is available 24/7. There are nurse aids on this unit,
with ratios of 1:7-10. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Floor
vents are managed by Respiratory Therapy and physician. Registered
Nurses do not have to read strips; verification of monitor tech
strip reading is documented in the system. Travelers need to be
flexible and may work three shifts in a row, but this is not
guaranteed. Weekend rotations include weekend shifts on Friday,
Saturday, and Sundays or Saturday, Sundays, and Mondays. Holiday
shifts are part of the rotation. Floating may occur to other
designated units if needed. Scrub colors consist of any combination
of white and royal blue. Nurses document in the designated
electronic system. BSN is not required for this position.
