Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline:RN - Start Date:ASAP - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience: 2 years License to Submit: Yes BSN Required: No Orientation Hours: 16 hours Shift Notes: Night shift or rotating day/night (3 weeks of days, 3 weeks of nights) Charting System: Allscripts - Sunrise Unit Details: Beds: 30 (14 private, 16 semi-private) Patient Ratios: 1:4 (usually 1:5, occasionally 1:6) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holidays: Flexible, minimal holiday work Floating: Required to float to Tele or MedSurg, and Pandemic Unit as needed Vents: Managed by RT (AirVo, Bipap) Drips: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetolol, Nitro, Heparin, Lasix RT/Pharmacy: 24/7 Preferred Experience: Chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, post pacer, pre/post cath, groin checks, Tikosyn therapy Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips Critical care/stepdown experience United Staffing Solutions Job ID 908632.
