Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in columbus, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/26/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract We are seeking experienced and adaptable RNs to join the Clinical Resource Unit within our Comprehensive Cancer Center. This dynamic float pool supports specialized oncology and MedSurg units across a 318-bed acute care facility. Note We can discuss the stipend component in accordance with GSA requirements Schedule: - 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights) or 12-hour Nights - Shift assignments reviewed every 4 weeks (no guaranteed changes) - Variable weekends based on unit needs - No set or block scheduling; self-scheduling with requests considered Minimum Requirements: - 2 years of Med/Surg or higher acuity experience - EPIC charting experience required - Oncology experience preferred but not required Certifications: - BLS and ACLS (must be current) Specialty Float Areas: - BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology - Medical, Surgical, Gynecologic, Colorectal, and Urologic Oncology - Corrections Healthcare Unit Highlights: - Patient ratios: Goal 1:4, up to 1:5 - Strong focus on infection prevention and fall protocols - Orientation: Week 1 (Mon-Fri days), plus 5 bedside shifts in Weeks 2–3 About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
