Job Title: X-Ray Tech / OR Fluoro Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Ohio State License Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: Teaching hospital experience EPIC experience X-ray technologist with OR experience C-Arm procedures Description: This position involves performing X-ray and OR fluoroscopy procedures Monday to Friday. The hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The environment is very high volume and fast-paced. There are 2 X-Ray rooms and 6 OR rooms. The department is equipped with MRI, X-ray, and C-arms for the OR. The primary focus of the position is on sports medicine view X-rays and musculoskeletal (MSK) X-rays. However, the scope is not limited strictly to MSK procedures. Required skills include portable abdomen and chest imaging, as well as isolation precautions. Experience with adult outpatient and bedside/portable procedures is necessary. Candidates should be familiar with various imaging procedures, including but not limited to abdomen decubitus, supine, and upright imaging. Experience with trauma lower extremity, cervical spine, lumbar spine, pelvis, thoracic spine, and various extremity imaging is required. Familiarity with EPIC and GE PACS is also essential.
