Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Profession: Behavioral Healthcare Provider Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum experience required License: Must possess relevant licensure Certifications: LISW, LPCC, LICDC, IMFT, or RN with specialty certification Must-Have: Licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC), Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT), or Registered Nurse with certification in Mental Health or Psychiatry Description: The Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements, and provides interdisciplinary services related to health and illness. They independently provide services within their credentialed scope of practice. They serve as lead workers or liaisons to support agencies. The provider acts as a lead worker over lower-level behavioral healthcare providers or independently develops and implements treatment plans for clients. They coordinate admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans for clients' care cycles. The provider offers interventions to clients with acute and complex issues and manages cases with multiple factors and problems. They provide crisis intervention when necessary. They participate in establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment objectives. The provider develops and designs treatment techniques and procedures. They evaluate and modify treatment systems based on clients' progress and behavior change abilities. The provider evaluates the performance of lower-level behavioral healthcare providers regarding treatment plan administration. They maintain documentation to meet requirements of relevant agencies. The provider serves as an active member of treatment teams and participates in training sessions and policy review meetings. They establish and maintain working relationships with other facilities and agencies to coordinate referrals and follow-up services. Unusual working conditions may be encountered, including exposure to potentially violent clients and unusual environments. Travel to community sites may be required.
