Job Description:
Position OverviewMedical Office Assistant: This person assists
in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team
of health care professionals. This individual functions in all
areas of the office setting, this includes both clinical and front
desk duties.Licensed Practical Nurse: Promotes and restores
patients health by completing the nursing process; collaborating
with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing
physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and
families.Location and Hours of PositionPetroleum Valley Medical
Center 296 Church Street Petrolia, Pa. 16050(up to 40 hours per
week)Monday 7:30 am - 7:00 pmTuesday 7:30 am - 4:00 pmWednesday
7:30 am - 4:00 pmThursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pmFriday 7:30 am - 12:00
pmNO WEEKENDSCompensationLPN starts at $20 per hour. PHN recognizes
experience, education and site location when determining
wage.QualificationsGraduate of an approved school of Medical
Assistant and/or two years' experience in a clinical setting OR
Graduate of an approved nursing schoolInfection Control and strong
clinical knowledgeAdministering MedicationPrevious venipuncture and
injection experience preferredPrevious experience in calling
prescriptions under a providers directionComputer
