Job Description:
Oak Pointe Veterinary Care is located in the beautiful, rolling
hills of East Central Ohio. Situated in the city of Dover, Oak
Pointe Veterinary Care provides high quality primary care to dogs
and cats, with a few doctors also treating exotic pets and birds
(exotics and/or bird care is not mandatory). As an associate, and
member of our family, you will be working alongside a highly
trained, tenured staff that truly enjoy the practice and work well
together. We value the time our associates spend caring for our
patients in clinic, and equally value their time off with friends
and family. In addition to 1 week-day off per week, no emergency
duty, and generous vacation days off, our associates may choose to
enjoy a 3-day weekend every other week! Our town features a
low-cost of living, great dining options, a performing arts center,
and is conveniently located between several major cities which
include Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Columbus to take advantage of
larger city amenities. All experience levels welcome, including new
graduates seeking strong mentorship! Full & Part Time hours
available. *$10,000 signing bonus and up to $50,000 bonus for both
new graduate and experienced veterinarians* Our newly renovated
building features: AAHA accredited hospital Highly trained/hands-on
team of technicians which allow our associates to practice at the
top of their license Six exam rooms (with windows in each room!)

mentoring available As a member of the clinical team, you will work
with other veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and CSRs and
report to our managing veterinarian. What You Will Do: Develop a
rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes; perform
physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental
procedures in a way that will deliver the highest quality care
while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. Explain physical
examination findings and communicate to the client a diagnosis of
the pet's problems; generate and present a treatment plan for the
pet to the client; educate clients on preventative health care,
including vaccines and appropriate nutritional products. Assist in
the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery
of the highest quality care and exceptional client service. Stay
up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary
