CommQuest is currently seeking a Lead Staff Nurse for the CommQuest Detox Unit, located in Aultman Hospital in Canton. The Lead Staff Nurse is responsible for the provision of the day-to-day medical detox services under the supervision of the Director of CommQuest Detox and the Director of Nursing. This is a working supervisor position. This is a full time position with benefits including PTO, sick time, mental health days, medical insurance, vision/dental insurance, 403b match contribution, etc. The primary work schedule will be day shift hours, however this role must be available to work other shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed and directed.

80 hours annually of PTO (paid time off)

Job Duties include:

Responsible for the provision of the day-to-day medical detox services under the supervision of the Director of CommQuest Detox and the Director of Nursing.
Responsible for completing the monthly schedule for detox nursing staff, ensuring that all shifts are covered in the event of a call-off, staff shortage, etc. If coverage cannot be found, the Lead Staff Nurse is responsible for working that shift.
Provides administrative and personnel supervision to the detox nursing staff, including interviewing potential candidates, respond to personnel issues appropriately, discipline, completing annual performance evaluations, etc.
Responsible for ordering medication, medical stock, and medical supplies for the Detox Unit, ensuring that the necessary supplies are on hand, unexpired, and accounted for at all times.
Responsible for supervising medication counts and medication safe and ensuring accuracy.
Assists the Medical Doctor and Nurse Practitioner providers with required paperwork and orders.
Work collaboratively with other Supervisors and detox staff to ensure best client care is provided.
Must be available to detox nursing staff on a 24/7 basis for outside consultation (including phone calls, text messages, etc.).
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a plus.
A current, active RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing is highly preferred. Must not have any current or pending license restrictions.
Those with an LPN license and extensive experience in the field may be considered. Must not have any current or pending license restrictions.
Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is required.
Previous Supervisory experience is highly desired.
Must be mature, professional, and have the ability to work with other team members for the benefit of our clients.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of walking throughout the hospital during the day for consults and screenings
