Job Description:

We are looking for an organized Production Manager to supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The warehouse production manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets.To ensure success, you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. Warehouse Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company's policies and vision.
• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees' knowledge.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring the safety of staff.
• Motivating and disciplining staff.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
• Assisting with deliveries where required.Warehouse Production Manager Requirements:
  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate forklifts effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
