excited to welcome a talented Quality Inspector III. In this
pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality product is
supplied to our customers and complies with all customer and
regulatory requirements in accordance with quality procedures,
AS9100, and FAA 14 CFR 21 production approval requirements. What
You Will Do: Inspection of components and assemblies to meet
customer requirements and FAA regulatory requirements. Verify parts
have been accepted through the quality system. Review parts and
shipping paperwork for correctness. Verify parts meet FAA
eligibility requirements for PMA and TSO parts in accordance with
FAA regulations and applicable FAA Orders. Verify part marking in
accordance with approved drawings and FAA requirements for PMA and
TSO parts. Issue FAA Form 8130-3 for PMA and TSO articles. How to
determine FAA-PMA and TSO eligibility of parts FAA part marking
requirements Import requirements and Bilateral agreements between
the US and other nations How to verify acceptance status of parts
Applicable FAA regulations, orders, and advisory circulars How to
issue FAA Form 8130-3 Authorized Release Document Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g.
G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related
discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer: Experience working in the manufacturing
or quality department of the Lenexa production facility. Experience
as a DMIR, DAR, or ODA Unit Member, of an FAA production approval
holder issuing FAA Form 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificate for
articles. Experience as a member of Certifying Staff of an FAA
production approval holder issuing FAA Form 8130-3 Authorized
Release Document (ARD) for articles. Experience as a member of
Certifying Staff of an EASA production organization approval (POA)
issuing EASA Form 1, or UK CAA production organization approval
issuing UK CAA Form 1 The ability to read and interpret blue
prints, test procedures, work instructions, and other applicable
production/inspection documentation. Knowledge and experience
following quality procedures and related work instructions.
Experience with quality control methods and techniques Experience
as an FAA Designee (DMIR/ODAR/ODA Unit Member), or issuance of
8130-3 under 21.137(o) ARD, performing Export and Domestic
Airworthiness inspections of TSO/PMA articles in accordance with
Title 14, Part 21 of Federal Aviation Regulations. Knowledge of
applicable FAA Orders, Regulations, and Advisory Circulars (i.e. 14
CFR Parts 21 & 45, FAA Orders 8130.2, 8130.21, 8110.4, Advisory
Circulars 21-2, & 45-2) Experience making Conformity determinations
of test articles and test set-ups in support of Type Certificate
