Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Euclid, OH Pay: $30-38/hr Open Shifts: 1st (7am-3:30pm) 2nd (3pm-11pm) 3rd (11pm-7am) Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment within an industrial setting. This includes working with motors, pneumatic tools, pistons, conveying systems, and various production machines. The role involves diagnosing equipment problems, dismantling and rebuilding machines, and conducting preventive maintenance. This position requires a commitment to safety and a clean-shaven face for N-95 mask fitting. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair machinery and mechanical equipment. Diagnose equipment problems with operators. Observe mechanical devices and listen for issues to locate trouble sources. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Use testing devices for troubleshooting. Dismantle machines and rebuild them as needed. Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery and control instruments. Install and repair electrical equipment (480v 3-phase). Cut and weld metal to repair or fabricate parts. Test machinery performance after repairs. Perform preventive maintenance using PM/CMMS systems. Use chemical solutions for cleaning or repair. Remove hardened material from machines using various tools. Record parts or materials used and requisition new ones as necessary. Essential Skills 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Mechanical troubleshooting skills (pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors). Knowledge of pneumatics. Electrical troubleshooting experience (3 phase - 220v & 480v). Ability to read industrial blueprints and schematics. Experience with CMMS systems. High school diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications PLC troubleshooting and VFD/sensor repair experience. Welding and fabrication skills. Technical school certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology preferred. Knowledge of hydraulics, mostly pneumatics at this facility.
