We are currently seeking a Principal Energy Efficiency Development Engineer to spearhead projects focused on developing and implementing advanced energy efficiency technologies. This role is pivotal in helping us achieve our vision of balancing sustainable practices with robust energy solutions for our broad spectrum of customers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of energy dynamics, engineering principles, and the passion to drive projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring they meet both technical standards and sustainability goals. Design, develop, and manage projects that improve energy efficiency Analyze current energy systems and propose new solutions to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact Collaborate with other engineering teams and departments to integrate sustainable practices Stay updated with latest energy technologies and apply best practices to ongoing projects Prepare technical and project management reports, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and interdisciplinary staff Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in the use of simulation software Excellent understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and energy systems Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Strong leadership skills and experience Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
