Ashtabula facility is in search of a 1st shift Maintenance
Technician. Pay is based on experience offering $32-$39 an hour.
Position: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Ashtabula, OH Pay Rate:
$32-$39 Schedule: MondayFriday Day Shift (with potential transition
to a 12-hour rotating shift) Classification: Safety Critical Role
NATURE OF DUTIES: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to
perform maintenance, service, and repair of manufacturing equipment
in a 24/7 continuous operation facility. This is a full-time,
hourly position requiring strong technical expertise and a
commitment to safety Key Responsibilities: * Safely and efficiently
maintain/repair manufacturing and utility equipment in line with
company procedures. * Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and
processes; report deviations, equipment failures, and safety
hazards. * Use internal systems to obtain spare parts, complete
required documentation, and generate reports. * Participate in
training and development programs; provide on-the-job training and
mentoring to other team members as needed. * Contribute to team
projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance
equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. *
Maintain high housekeeping standards and adhere to safety practices
at all times. * Follow all departmental rules, guidelines, and
safety principles. * Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. *
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
(chemical plant experience preferred). * Proficiency in maintaining
pneumatic and hydraulic systems, tube bending, pipe fitting, flange
make-up, and torque techniques. * Skilled in pump
troubleshooting/rebuilding, mechanical seals, bearings, and
lubrication practices. * Experience with valve repair: gate, globe,
butterfly, ball, check, and relief valves. * Strong mechanical
aptitude, including use of precision measurement tools and assembly
techniques. * General knowledge of plant safety; OSHA 30-hour
General Industry Safety certification preferred. * Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite and SAP or similar systems. * Ability to
work overtime and shift schedules as required. Benefits: This
