Job Description:

Night Shift- CNC Mill Operator We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator for night shift (9 PM to 7 AM.) The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers to produce both metallic and non-metallic components. This role requires a solid understanding of machining principles, shop mathematics, and material properties to ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly of parts. Responsibilities: Analyze blueprints, manuals, and specifications to ascertain the dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations for the machining process. Set up and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on CNC machines to prepare for operation. Monitor machine performance during operation, identifying any malfunctions or deviations from specifications, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and height gauges, to verify the dimensions of finished components. Deburr edges and holes of machined parts, ensuring they are protected from damage throughout the production process. Requirements: Proven experience in operating and maintaining CNC Mills. Proficient in recognizing when measurements deviate from specifications and skilled in using bore gauges. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, including various view orientations and tolerance specifications. Familiarity with identifying materials, dimensions, hole specifications, and threading requirements based on technical drawings. Competence in setting basic tool offsets, adjusting cutter compensation values, and understanding fundamental “G” codes.
